The 8th Jahorina Economic Forum Opens Today

The 8th Jahorina Economic Forum opens today under the banner “Agenda for the Western Balkans – Growth Plan.”

Over three days, ministers, economists, investors, and leaders from across the region will gather to outline practical steps toward sustainable development and regional economic transformation.

Key topics include the advantages of a unified Balkan market, energy transition, digital lending, and agricultural scalability.

Prominent speakers will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.

The programme will also feature a Regional Wine Festival, celebrating local wines and cuisine.

Wednesday’s closing panel will tackle regional economic barriers amid growing global divides.

Organisers promise thought-provoking discussion and will honour leading female entrepreneurs with the “Businesswoman of the Western Balkans” award—affirming that meaningful dialogue in the region has never been more urgent.
