Montenegro's Vina Plantaža secures seven gold medals, including two prestigious Grand Golds, reaffirming its dominance on the global wine stage

Vina Plantaža, Montenegro’s flagship winery, has achieved a monumental victory at the prestigious Mundus Vini Spring Tasting 2025 in Neustadt, Germany, securing an impressive seven gold medals, including two Grand Golds and the coveted “Best of Show – Montenegro” award.

This historic success not only cements Plantaža’s position as a leader in the regional wine industry but also elevates Montenegro’s native Vranac to international acclaim.

Among the stars of the event were Grand Reserva and Crnogorski Premijer, both of which earned Grand Golds, with the latter being crowned the best Montenegrin wine at the tasting.

Other gold-medal winners included premium wines such as NotaEpoha, and Vranac Pro Corde.

The competition, judged by over 250 experts from 55 countries, showcased the exceptional quality of Plantaža’s wines, with Vranac, in particular, emerging as a standout.

This recognition highlights the winery’s commitment to excellence and its role in placing Montenegro on the global wine map.
