Slovenia Shines at ITB Berlin

Slovenia’s captivating mix of art, culture, and sustainability takes center stage at ITB Berlin, with a promise of authentic, year-round experiences for discerning travellers

At the prestigious ITB Berlin, Slovenia’s tourism representatives have unveiled the nation’s artistic and cultural treasures to the world.

The Slovene Tourist Organization (STO) and 27 other local entities are showcasing Slovenia’s rich cultural heritage, highlighting it as a year-round destination for those seeking authenticity and luxury.

Maja Pak Olaj, director of STO, emphasized the country’s aim to attract high-spending tourists looking for unique experiences beyond peak season.

With a sprawling 210-square-metre stand, Slovenia is making its presence felt in Hub 27, alongside key players such as Maribor Tourism and the Slovenian Istria.

Highlighting the fusion of art and gastronomy, Maribor plays a central role, while the stand also hosts discussions on the synergy between culture and tourism.

With over 100,000 participants last year, ITB Berlin serves as a vital platform for forging new partnerships, with Slovenia in the running for several awards.
