NIS Serbia and SINOPEC Sign Memorandum on Green Energy Cooperation

Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS), a subsidiary of Gazprom, and the Sinopec Petroleum Engineering Corporation, a division of the global energy giant Sinopec Group, have signed a memorandum of scientific and technological cooperation

The agreement, made during a visit from a Chinese delegation to NIS, focuses on collaboration in green energy initiatives.

The two companies will work together on projects related to the collection, utilization, and storage of CO2, as well as exploring renewable energy sources such as low-carbon hydrogen production, geothermal, and solar energy.
