Telekom Slovenije Marks Strong Growth

Telekom Slovenije reports impressive profits and solid market gains, positioning itself as a regional leader in telecom innovation

Telekom Slovenije, the country’s national telecommunications giant, has reported a robust 17% rise in net profit for 2024, reaching €55 million.

Revenues climbed by 2%, totalling €720 million, reflecting a stable growth trajectory.

The company’s EBITDA saw a 5% increase to €240 million, while pre-tax profit (EBIT) surged by 14%, hitting nearly €73 million.

The operator exceeded expectations across all key sectors and markets. The company’s mobile services grew by 4%, reaching nearly 2 million users, and its fixed broadband and TV services expanded by the same margin, totaling 316,176 connections.

In Slovenia, Telekom holds a commanding 35.8% market share in mobile services and increased its share of the fixed broadband market to 34%.

In line with its growth, Telekom boosted capital investments by 16%, now investing €219 million in expanding its fibre-optic network, reaching half a million households, and increasing its 5G coverage by 33%, now serving 80% of the population.

Looking ahead, the company forecasts modest revenue growth in 2025, with net profits slightly lower, at around €54 million.
