Luka Modrić Joins Zeppelin Brewery as Co-Owner

The Croatian football legend steps off the pitch and into the brewery, bringing his passion for excellence to Bjelovar’s popular craft beer scene

Luka Modrić, captain of the Croatian national football team and Real Madrid star, is set to embark on an unexpected new venture—becoming a co-owner of Zeppelin Craft Brewery, one of Croatia’s finest craft beer producers.

Based in the city of Bjelovar, Zeppelin has gained a loyal following since its inception in 2017, earning a reputation for its high-quality, unpasteurised, and unfiltered beers.

The brewery has firmly established itself within the country’s growing craft beer scene, consistently earning top ratings from enthusiasts.

Bjelovar Mayor Dario Hrebak confirmed the news, extending congratulations to Modrić and the brewery team.

Modrić’s involvement is expected to further elevate the brewery’s prominence, and speculation is already rife about a potential special edition beer inspired by the football icon himself.

As the midfielder continues to shine on the football field, he now looks set to make his mark in the world of craft brewing, a fitting new chapter for one of Croatia’s most beloved figures.
