Francesco Ciancia Appointed Chairman of FCA Serbia Supervisory Board

The appointment brings one of Stellantis’ top global manufacturing executives to a key governance role in Serbia.

FCA Serbia has announced the appointment of Francesco Ciancia as Chairman and Member of its Supervisory Board, reinforcing the company’s governance structure and strategic alignment with the wider Stellantis group.

Ciancia currently serves as Global Head of Manufacturing at Stellantis and is a member of the company’s Leadership Team, one of the highest decision-making bodies within the global automotive group.

According to FCA Serbia, the appointment reflects the company’s continued focus on performance, operational excellence and effective corporate governance.

The move comes at a significant moment for FCA Serbia, which remains one of the country’s most important industrial exporters and a key part of Stellantis’ European manufacturing network. The Kragujevac facility has recently attracted renewed attention following investments linked to the production of new-generation electric vehicles.

By appointing a senior global executive with extensive manufacturing experience, Stellantis signals the strategic importance of its Serbian operations within the group’s broader transformation towards electrification and next-generation mobility.
