Bosnia Approves Bold Wage Reform to Boost Worker Incomes

Bosnia and Herzegovina has unveiled sweeping fiscal reforms

Bosnia is promising nearly double the income for many workers, with the new minimum wage set to exceed 600 euros.

Under this initiative, employers will receive partial relief from contribution payments, aiming to reduce economic strain and curb black market practices.

With the minimum wage rising from its current 310 euros to around 1,200 marks (roughly 600 euros), these changes mark a significant shift towards better worker protection and a more just social system, setting a hopeful precedent for Bosnia’s future.
