Albania And Greece Step Up Cooperation to Boost Investment

Albania and Greece are strengthening bilateral cooperation aimed at increasing investment flows and supporting sustainable economic projects. 

The Director of the Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA), Laura Saro, met in Tirana with Dimitris Skalkos, President of Enterprise Greece and Secretary General at Greece’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, alongside representatives of the Greek Embassy.

The meeting reaffirmed the importance of ongoing collaboration under a Memorandum of Understanding, with a focus on exchanging experience and best practices in investment promotion.

Both sides discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation, improve the business climate and encourage projects that support long-term regional growth.

According to official data, Greek investments in Albania reached €267 million by mid-2025. Trade between the two countries also remains strong, with Albanian exports to Greece totalling 19.7 billion lek in the first ten months of the year, while imports from Greece amounted to approximately 59.3 billion lek.
