Air Serbia Achieves Historic Milestone

With a record-breaking start to the year, Air Serbia maintains its impressive growth trajectory, exceeding half a million passengers in just two months

Air Serbia, the national carrier of Serbia, has reached an extraordinary milestone, transporting over half a million passengers in January and February 2025.

This significant achievement underscores the airline’s continued expansion. In February alone, Air Serbia carried 239,198 passengers, adding to 276,198 in January.

The airline also achieved a 5% increase in flights, with 2,874 operations from Belgrade, Niš, and Kraljevo, compared to the same period in 2024.

General Director Jirži Marek expressed pride in the airline’s historic achievement, noting that it marked the first time in the company’s history that over 500,000 passengers were carried in the first two months of the year.

Popular regional destinations included Podgorica and Tivat, while Western Europe saw high demand for flights to Paris, Zurich, Milan, and Frankfurt.

The airline’s Euro-Mediterranean routes to Istanbul, Athens, Barcelona, and Larnaca also saw impressive traffic.
