A delegation from Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense Zukan Helez, participated in the opening of the Global Military Exhibition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 8 February. The event brings together leading actors in the military industry, technology, and strategic planning from around the world.
During the exhibition, BiH representatives explored modern trends in weapons and military equipment to guide the modernization of the country’s armed forces and improve interoperability with NATO partners.
Helez highlighted the importance of the visit for strengthening international cooperation, exchanging experiences, and supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
The delegation also included Federation of BiH Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić, Minister of Energy Vedran Lakić, and Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Nerin Dizdar. Minister Helez is expected to continue intensive diplomatic engagements in Riyadh, meeting with Saudi defense officials and other international representatives in the coming days.
