From 18 to 21 September, Rovinj will host another edition of AI.Weekend, the fast-rising gathering that brings global tech minds and Adria’s innovation leaders under one roof. After last year’s headline appearances from OpenAI and Tinder, this year’s focus sharpens on real-world impact — not theory.

Sheel Mohnot, venture capital partner at Better Tomorrow Ventures and fintech thought-leader from Silicon Valley, headlines the event. His talk promises a rare investor’s-eye view into AI risk, returns, and what’s actually worth funding in 2025.
Łukasz Gabler of TikTok adds a digital policy perspective, detailing how frontier AI tools are already shaping the company’s strategy across Central and Eastern Europe.

Curated by Nikola Pavešić, new programme director and regional tech veteran, the 2024 edition avoids buzzwords in favour of what he calls “decisions that shape the next decade.” No panels for panel’s sake — just builders, funders, and deployers of AI.
Other key speakers include:
- Božidar Pavlović (AYMO Ventures) on venture trends in Adria’s AI space
- Ervin Jagatić (Infobip) on building AI-first product strategy
- Josip Ćesić (Gideon) on scaling deep-tech from the region
- Srđan Kovačević (Orqa) on how Croatian-made FPV gear went global
Rovinj might be a postcard town, but this September, it’s where the real AI future gets negotiated.
