Trump Jr Meets Serbian Entrepreneurs

Donald Trump Jr hears from Serbia’s industrial vanguard in Belgrade, eyeing IT, tourism and transatlantic investment potential

During a visit to Belgrade on Saturday, Donald Trump Jr reportedly met with 33 Serbian business leaders at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

According to officials, the gathering included executives from major domestic firms such as Comtrade, Delta Holding, MK Group and Mikroelektronika—companies said to collectively employ over 35,000 people.

Marko Čadež, President of the Chamber, is understood to have described the meeting as an opportunity for Serbian companies to present their projects directly to someone he referred to as being at the centre of global economic developments.

He is said to have remarked that Trump Jr showed real interest in each company’s operations, actively listening to individual presentations.

The focus of discussions, Čadež reportedly explained, centred on tourism, real estate, and particularly the IT sector—an area in which American firms are believed to be increasingly interested.

Čadež noted that Trump Jr appeared especially intrigued by Serbia’s technological potential and ongoing development projects, and that the idea behind the gathering was to showcase what local companies are building and achieving.
