Slovenia Showcases Green Innovation at Expo 2025

Slovenia's participation in Expo 2025 offers a unique opportunity to demonstrate its groundbreaking solutions for sustainability, self-sufficiency, and smart industry

Slovenia, one of 160 countries set to participate in Expo 2025 in Osaka, will not boast a dedicated pavilion but instead will share its groundbreaking innovations alongside nations like Croatia and Israel.

From 13 April to 13 October 2025, Slovenia will present transformative solutions for green transition, sustainable living, and intelligent industry.

Under the slogan “From Heart to Heart,” Slovenia’s exhibit will focus on humanity’s role not just as users of technology, but as beings with values, emotions, and purpose. This approach aligns with Japan’s “Society 5.0” vision.

Saša Leban, Slovenia’s Expo 2025 Secretary-General, explained that this is more than a promotional opportunity—it’s a moment for Slovenia to showcase how it connects innovation and sustainability.

The country also sees Expo 2025 as an important step in strengthening bilateral relations with Japan and increasing trade, particularly in high-tech and green industries.
