Western Balkans Chambers Forge Tourism Alliance in US Congress

The Chambers of Commerce of the Western Balkans have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation at the US Congress to promote the region as a unified tourist destination for American visitors

The Chambers of Commerce from the Western Balkans have come together to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation at the US Congress, focusing on enhancing the region’s appeal as a unified tourist destination for Americans. 

The memorandum presents strategic move towards transforming the Western Balkans’ image in the United States and an opportunites in various economic sectors for the region

The signing took place at the Southeast Europe Economic Forum, which is held in the US Congress and organized by the Transatlantic Leadership Network, the Atlantic Council’s Europe Center in Washington, and Belgrade’s Institute for Policy and Economy of Southeast Europe. 

The event drew state officials, chamber representatives, business associations, US administration members, and experts on the Western Balkans to discuss enhancing economic cooperation, the implications of the EU’s “New Growth Plan,” and the business community’s ongoing challenges.
