JANAF Seals Oil Transit Deal with INA, Bolstering Croatia’s Energy Security

The Adriatic Oil Pipeline (JANAF) has announced a new oil transportation contract with INA, reinforcing Croatia's energy sector and industrial stability

In a strategic move to buttress Croatia’s energy autonomy, the Adriatic Oil Pipeline (JANAF) disclosed that it has inked a deal for the transportation of two tons of oil, allowing a fluctuation of plus/minus five percent, through its network to the Rijeka Oil Refinery, effective until the year’s end.

JANAF’s leadership underscored the initiative’s contribution to the nation’s energy stability, pledging continued investments in system enhancement and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and processes.

“The renewed partnership reaffirms our position as a pivotal player in Central Europe’s energy sector and a reliable entity ensuring energy security for all parties involved,” stated JANAF representatives.

Furthermore, JANAF maintains a long-term agreement with INA for the storage of crude oil, set to expire on December 31, 2025, encompassing facilities at the Omišalj and Sisak terminals.
