Serbia has officially become the 33rd country to join the Alliance for the Governance of Artificial Intelligence.

This announcement was made by the Government following Serbia’s participation in the World Economic Forum’s Summit on AI Governance in San Francisco, hosted by the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR).

As emphasized by the Government, membership in the Alliance is set to accelerate Serbia’s development in artificial intelligence (AI) with expert support, focusing on sustainability, resilience, and the security of AI technologies.

The Summit, which gathered leaders and experts from over 200 leading global companies and organizations, aimed to promote responsible AI innovations, placing ethical guidelines as a priority in technological advancement.

Alongside Serbia, the Alliance’s members include countries identified by the World Economic Forum as leaders in the development and application of AI.
