Slovenian Startups Explore UAE Market

A delegation of Slovenian startups explores growth prospects in the UAE, seeking to tap into the region’s thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem

A select group of Slovenian startups recently ventured to Dubai, looking to capitalise on the vast opportunities in the UAE market.

Organised by the Slovenian Entrepreneurship Fund, the five-day visit was part of a cross-border accelerator programme, co-funded by the EU.

During the trip, the companies participated in workshops and presentations, gaining insights into market entry strategies, adapting their business models, and navigating the region’s entrepreneurial landscape.

Participating firms such as Aiport Tech, Alfa Tel, and Robomatis met with local investors, entrepreneurs, and key players in the UAE startup ecosystem, as well as members of the Slovenian expatriate community.

Networking sessions and high-level discussions, including a meeting with Slovenia’s Ambassador to the UAE, Natalia Al Mansour, underscored the importance of international collaboration in expanding startup potential across borders.

This strategic push marks a significant step for Slovenia’s innovative sector, aiming to position itself within the dynamic and rapidly growing UAE market.
