Pogačar Makes Tre Valli Varesine Look Effortless

Tadej Pogačar continued his remarkable winning streak by claiming victory at the Italian classic Tre Valli Varesine.

Covering 200.3 km with 3,400 metres of elevation gain, the Slovenian executed a masterful strategy, letting his UAE Emirates-XRG team control the pace early before launching a decisive solo attack in the final 20 km. He crossed the finish line 45 seconds ahead of the chasing group, securing his second career win at this historic race.

This latest triumph comes just days after Pogačar won the road race at the European Championships in France and, earlier, defended his world road race title in Rwanda. With a total of 107 career victories, including 19 this season, he now turns his sights to Giro di Lombardia, aiming for his 20th win and to match Fausto Coppi’s record with a fifth victory in this monument race.
