MK Group Completes Acquisition of Dijamant

The deal marks another major step in the consolidation of the regional food industry and expands MK Group’s presence in the edible oils sector.

Serbia’s MK Group has completed the acquisition of Dijamant from Fortenova Group, finalizing a transaction that was announced earlier this year. With the takeover now complete, Dijamant officially becomes part of MK Group’s business portfolio.

Dijamant, one of Serbia’s best-known food producers, is a leading manufacturer of edible oils, margarines and other food products. The acquisition strengthens MK Group’s position in the agribusiness and food-processing sectors, areas that already represent a significant part of the company’s operations.

According to MK Group, the transaction is expected to create new opportunities for growth, investment and operational synergies. The company said it intends to build on Dijamant’s long-standing market position while supporting further development of production capacities and product offerings.

The completion of the deal also represents another significant move in the ongoing restructuring of Fortenova Group’s portfolio, as the Croatian conglomerate continues to focus on its core business activities across the region.
