In a significant leadership change, Marijana Knežević Tudić has been appointed the new CEO of Kraš, effective 20 June. The decision was made at the recent Supervisory Board meeting.
Knežević Tudić steps into the role with extensive experience, having served as a member of the Kraš Board, overseeing operations including production, maintenance, procurement, and investments. Her journey with Kraš began in 2000 as an intern after graduating from the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology. Over the years, she has amassed valuable experience across various departments such as production, marketing, sales, and procurement.
“It is a great honor to become the CEO of a company with a century-long tradition, where I have spent my entire career. My twenty years at Kraš have allowed me to deeply understand the company, its processes, and its people. Therefore, this appointment is a significant professional and personal acknowledgment for me,” said Knežević Tudić.
Kraš is a cornerstone of the confectionery industry in the region and a well-recognized brand both domestically and internationally. In addition to maintaining successful operations and strengthening its market-leading position, Knežević Tudić plans to focus on modernizing production processes, fostering innovation, and improving employee skills and working conditions. She expressed confidence in Kraš’s ability to overcome current challenges, such as the record high cocoa prices, and to ensure business stability while aligning with global development strategies.
Knežević Tudić succeeds Allen Halamić, who resigned for personal reasons at the recent Supervisory Board meeting. Halamić thanked his colleagues for their cooperation and welcomed Knežević Tudić as the new CEO. He will continue to be part of Kraš as an advisor to the Board.
With her extensive background and commitment to innovation, Knežević Tudić is poised to lead Kraš into a new era of growth and resilience.
