Kragujevac’s Nevena Milošević Sets Astonishing Push-Up Record

Nevena Milošević, a Guinness World Record holder from Kragujevac, has once again defied expectations, smashing her personal best by completing an extraordinary 1,279 push-ups in just one hour

This remarkable achievement surpasses the official record—set across both male and female categories—by an impressive 33 push-ups.

But this feat carries far more significance than mere numbers. Milošević’s record-breaking performance was driven by a cause close to her heart: raising funds for her fellow Kragujevac resident, Danijela Cvetković. Cvetković, a professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, is currently undergoing treatment in Israel, and Milošević’s efforts were dedicated to supporting her recovery.

What makes this even more striking is the sheer grit and determination Milošević displayed. Not only has she etched her name further into the record books, but she has also galvanised her local community for a noble cause. “This was never just about breaking a record,” Milošević reflected. “It was about doing something meaningful, something that could make a difference.”

For the people of Kragujevac, Milošević’s achievement has brought a sense of pride and inspiration. More than just a test of endurance, her record-breaking push-ups serve as a powerful reminder of the strength of solidarity and compassion in the face of adversity.
