EV Solutions Continues Operations Under New Ownership

EV Solutions secures future under new ownership, averting closure after Swiss parent company Landis+Gyr sought liquidation.

EV Solutions, a leading Slovenian manufacturer of electric vehicle charging stations, will continue its operations under new ownership after its previous Swiss parent company, Landis+Gyr, sought to exit the business.

The Slovene financial company KD Group has acquired the company, ensuring its future in the rapidly growing e-mobility sector.

Landis+Gyr, which had owned a controlling stake in EV Solutions since 2021, had planned to liquidate the business due to financial difficulties, despite strong sales growth.

EV Solutions, which employs 180 people and controls nearly 75% of Slovenia’s public charging infrastructure, had faced significant financial losses in recent years, reporting a €3 million loss in 2023 and €6 million in 2024.

Under KD Group’s ownership, the company aims to stabilize and continue developing its products, building on 15 years of expertise in e-mobility.

Gregor Sluga, CEO of KD Group, emphasized the importance of the acquisition in supporting local innovation and strengthening Slovenia’s position in the global e-mobility market.
