Docentric Named Slovenia’s Best High-Growth Business for 2025

Kranj-based high-tech company Docentric has won the 2025 Golden Gazelle Award for best high-growth enterprise, announced at the annual Gazelle Awards ceremony in Ljubljana.

The Silver Gazelle went to biotech firm Jafral, while Acryform, a European maker of acrylic windows for recreational vehicles, took the Bronze.

Docentric, which develops reporting and document automation components for Microsoft technologies, serves 800 customers globally. In just five years, the company grew its turnover from under €1 million to €6.9 million, while maintaining controlled and prudent growth. Co-CEO Ana Gligorijević, who co-founded the company with Jurij Leskovec, emphasized the company’s vision of “responsible business, responsible technology, and humanism,” focused on building sustainable systems that prioritize people’s well-being.

Economy Minister Matjaž Han praised Gazelle winners as engines of Slovenia’s economy, noting their social responsibility and environmental awareness. President Nataša Pirc Musar highlighted the need for a predictable domestic business environment amid global economic tensions, citing unstable tax and legislative conditions as a challenge for investors.

The Gazelle Award, celebrating its 25th edition, remains Slovenia’s premier business recognition for innovation, international success, and entrepreneurial boldness.
