Serbia’s First Solar Panel Factory Begins Operations in Velika Plana

The first Serbian factory for the production of solar panels, 'Domi Eko Solar', with a capacity of over 100 megawatts annually, has commenced operations in Velika Plana.

This is the country’s first factory for the production of photovoltaic panels, according to Balkan Green Energy News.

‘The factory’s capacity is 100 MW annually. We plan to reach this by the middle of next year,’ stated Drahan Rajovic, director of ‘Domi Eko Solar’, adding that the investment in production equipment is estimated at three million euros.

The production equipment was supplied by the Italian manufacturer Ecoprogetti.
