PepsiCo’s snack factory in Maglić has marked 30 years of operations, during which it has grown into one of the company’s most important production and distribution centres in Serbia and the wider region. Over the past decade, the company has continued investing in production capacity, portfolio expansion and logistics, while a significant share of products manufactured in Maglić is exported to markets including Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Hungary and Italy.
The factory’s portfolio includes globally and regionally recognised snack brands such as Chipsy, Doritos, Lay’s, Clipsy, Pardon and Gud.

PepsiCo says the facility continues to modernise its production lines and operational processes, with additional focus placed on sustainability, including renewable energy use, solar solutions and more efficient management of water and energy consumption as part of its global pep+ strategy.
“Our ambition is to build growth responsibly — through innovation, operational excellence and investments that create value for the communities where we operate,” said Zorica Šišmanović, Director of the PepsiCo Maglić factory. The company also announced further steps toward greener logistics and supply chain transformation, including the introduction of an electric truck and alternative fuels with lower emissions.
