Croatia’s First Satellite CroCube Unveiled

Croatia's inaugural satellite, CroCube, scheduled for a February launch from California aboard SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket, was unveiled at the Zagreb Fair.

When we look at CroCube, Croatia’s first satellite, we cannot help but feel pride and excitement. We are convinced that our example will inspire other companies and professionals,” stated Daniela Jović, the CroCube mission head.

CroCube is a nanosatellite, cube-shaped with red and white colors, weighing approximately 1.1 kilograms and measuring 10x10x10 centimeters. Following its unveiling, it was sent to the Czech Republic for additional tests to simulate launch conditions.

This pioneering Croatian satellite is equipped with two cameras for photographing the Earth’s surface from an altitude of 550 kilometers. Enthusiasts can track the satellite’s journey during the mission on its official website.
