Serbian Cultural Center Opens in Zagreb

The first phase of the Serbian Cultural Center (SKC) was officially opened in Zagreb

The opening of the Serbian Cultural Centre marks a significant moment for the Serbian community in Croatia.

Located at Preradovićeva 21–23, the center occupies a site historically tied to various Serbian institutions, including SKD Prosvjeta, the Serb National Council (SNV), and the Cultural Information Center (KIC).

The opening coincided with the exhibition Barbarogenije nadrealizma, as part of the ongoing Days of Serbian Culture in Zagreb.

The opening ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Croatian Minister of Culture Nina Obuljen Koržinek and Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić

This cultural hub aims to serve as a focal point for promoting Serbian heritage and cultural exchange within Croatia, symbolizing a new chapter in the relationship between the two neighboring nations.
