NALED Celebrates 18th Anniversary, Focusing on Digitalization and Future Reforms

NALED celebrated its 18th anniversary at the annual September Gathering of Members and Partners, hosted at the White Palace

The event drew around 1,000 attendees, including state and local officials, business leaders, and representatives of the international community. The evening’s focus was on the role of digitalization and artificial intelligence in shaping Serbia’s future, with speakers highlighting the importance of technological advancement for the country’s growth.

Prime Minister Miloš Vučević, along with other dignitaries such as Ana Brnabić, praised NALED’s pivotal role in driving reforms and supporting local governments and businesses. Vučević emphasized how far the organization has come since its founding, now tackling issues like AI and digitalization, which were unimaginable when NALED first began. Brnabić, a co-founder of the organization, expressed her pride in how NALED has grown into a vital institution for promoting effective governance and economic progress in Serbia.

The evening concluded with the presentation of NALED’s annual awards, recognizing individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the organization’s mission.

Key winners included Dragana Vujko from PMI, Zoran Daljević from Atlantic Group, and Boban Janković, the Mayor of Mionica, for their leadership in development, business, and local governance, respectively. The event was supported by sponsors and partners, including NLB Komercijalna Banka, UniCredit Bank, and Coca-Cola HBC, underscoring the collaborative spirit that drives NALED’s work.
