Armin van Buuren lit up the Croatian night sky, closing an unforgettable opening with a 3:30 a.m. trance masterpiece

From Friday, 11 July to Sunday, 13 July, Ultra Europe lit up Split’s Park of Youth Stadium, drawing more than 55,000 fans on its explosive opening night alone.

Spanning four vibrant stages, Friday saw standout performances from Mykris, Matroda, Nghtmre, Morten, and headliners Vini Vici and Alesso—before Armin van Buuren’s euphoric 3:30 a.m. set brought the night to a close.

At the Resistance stage, underground icons Solomun and Carl Cox electrified techno fans, while the Oasis stage offered a more laid-back escape.

The atmosphere remained euphoric.

Ultra Europe not only cements Split’s place on the global music map but also generates massive tourism, economic impact, and cultural exchange
