Telekom Srbija to Take Over Orion Telekom Subscribers

The announced sale of Orion Telekom WiFi to state-owned Telekom Srbija goes beyond a simple internal restructuring — it includes the transfer of all household contracts for Orion’s cable TV, internet, and fixed-line services.

This will be carried out through a formal reorganization of the three sister companies within the Orion group, enabling the legal transfer of user agreements to Orion Telekom WiFi.

Starting from December 1, 2025, all existing customer contracts with Orion Telekom d.o.o. and Orion Telekom Tim d.o.o. will be transferred to Orion Telekom WiFi d.o.o., which will officially become the new service provider.

According to the company, there will be no changes in service terms, pricing, or quality, and users will not need to sign new contracts.

This move paves the way for Telekom Srbija’s full acquisition of Orion Telekom WiFi, for which it had already requested approval earlier this year from the Macedonian Commission for the Protection of Competition. The transaction effectively gives Telekom control over Orion’s residential user base, infrastructure, and content contracts — further strengthening its dominant position in Serbia’s telecommunications market.
