Stela Melnic Appointed as New EBRD Director for Bosnia and Herzegovina

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has announced the appointment of Stela Melnic as the new Director for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Melnic, who previously served as Deputy Director of the EBRD office in Poland, brings extensive experience to her new role, having joined the Bank in 2005.

Throughout her career, Melnic has held key leadership positions, managing local teams in Ukraine and Romania.

In her most recent position in Poland, she played a crucial role in executing major initiatives, contributing to Poland’s position as the third-largest EBRD investment market in 2023.

Her appointment is expected to further enhance EBRD’s impact in Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly in fostering economic growth and development across the country.
