New Direct Flight Tivat – Barcelona

A new direct flight between Tivat and Barcelona, launching on July 1, promises to enhance the economic and tourism connection between Montenegro and Spain

In a press conference today, Roko Tolić, Executive Director of Airports of Montenegro, announced the launch of a direct flight from Tivat to Barcelona this summer.

The announcement, made alongside the future Spanish Ambassador to Montenegro, Jorge Urbiola Lopez, highlighted the significance of the new route for both nations, particularly in fostering investment and tourism.

Tolić expressed confidence that by early spring, the airport will already match last year’s summer traffic.

The new flight, which will be operated by Montenegro’s national carrier, is expected to strengthen ties between the two countries, both of which rely heavily on tourism.

Lopez emphasized that the route could also attract Spanish investors to Montenegro, further boosting the country’s economic prospects.

With the introduction of this direct connection, the two nations are set to enjoy a mutually beneficial relationship, offering new opportunities for cultural exchange and economic collaboration.
