The Serbian leasing market reached a record value of €1.02 billion at the end of 2025, marking the second consecutive year it surpassed the €1 billion threshold for newly signed contracts, the Association of Leasing Companies of Serbia (ALCS) reported. The total value increased by €42.6 million compared to the fourth quarter of 2024.
In the passenger vehicle segment, newly signed contracts amounted to €506.9 million, up €72.7 million from the previous year.
The commercial, freight, and other vehicle segment reached €364.9 million, while contracts for machinery and equipment totaled €149 million, and real estate contracts amounted to €2.8 million. A total of 24,713 contracts were signed in 2025, a 4.3% increase compared to 2024.
According to ALCS Board President Bojan Erak, the leasing market continues to support Serbia’s economy, providing financing options across vehicles, equipment, and real estate sectors, reinforcing its role as a key tool for business development and investment.
