Jet2 Will Launch New Direct Flight Connecting Croatia With Scotland

Croatia is set to gain a new direct air connection with Scotland next summer, with Jet2.com announcing weekly flights between Pula and Edinburgh from May 2027

The new route will begin on 2 May and operate every Sunday until 17 October, providing a direct link between Scotland and Istria.

The service will give travellers from Scotland easier access to Istria while offering Croatian and international visitors another direct option for reaching Edinburgh. The Edinburgh route will be Jet2.com’s sixth destination from Pula, alongside London Gatwick, London Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham and East Midlands.

Pula Airport General Manager Marko Ražem said the new connection would further strengthen Istria’s ties with the British market and open the region to visitors from Scotland. He noted that cooperation with Jet2.com had continued to expand following the introduction of two new routes with Jet2holidays in 2026.

The new Edinburgh service is expected to further improve Istria’s international accessibility ahead of the 2027 summer season, with tickets already available for booking. The route will operate throughout the main tourist season, with the final scheduled flight on 17 October.
