Black Friday Sets New Spending Records in Croatia

Croatia’s Black Friday 2023 shattered spending records, with a 14% increase in turnover despite only a slight rise in issued invoices

Black Friday spending in Croatia reached an impressive €154 million this year, marking a €19 million (14%) increase compared to last year, despite only a 0.7% rise in the number of issued invoices.

Fiscalized transactions for all activities during the event highlight the growing consumer enthusiasm for the “spending holiday.” Additionally, less than 6% more invoices were issued leading up to Black Friday, totaling over €122 million in value—a 7.6% increase compared to the same period during last year’s campaign.

These figures underscore a significant rise in spending efficiency and consumer engagement in Croatia’s Black Friday deals.
