YugoGPT Launched, a Regional AI Language Model

Aleksa Gordić, a programmer based in Belgrade, announced on his LinkedIn profile the launch of his own artificial intelligence (AI) language model, named YugoGPT.

This innovative model is tailored to languages of the former Yugoslavia, showcasing enhanced performance compared to existing AI models like Mistral or Meta’s LLaMA 2.

Gordić highlighted that YugoGPT demonstrates superior results in handling queries in several languages of the ex-Yugoslav region, outperforming the aforementioned global models.

The creator of YugoGPT stated that while the product requires further refinement, it is expected to significantly improve over the next few months, indicating a promising future for this regionally focused AI language model.
