Magic Johnson Reunites with Vlade Divac in Montenegro

NBA legend Magic Johnson reunited with his former Lakers teammate, Serbian basketball icon Vlade Divac, during a memorable visit to Montenegro's Bay of Kotor, where they explored the luxurious and historic Mamula Island Hotel

NBA legend Magic Johnson, known for his love of vacationing along the Adriatic, has once again chosen the stunning Bay of Kotor for his holiday retreat.

This time, his trip was made even more special by a reunion with his former Lakers teammate and Serbian basketball icon, Vlade Divac.

During his stay in Montenegro, Johnson shared a series of enthusiastic posts and photos on social media, highlighting his delight at reconnecting with Divac. The pair, along with Johnson’s friends Rodney, Holly, Mike, and Natasha, were treated to an exceptional evening by Divac.

Divac took the group to the Mamula Island Hotel, a unique destination that left a lasting impression on Johnson. “Caught up with my former Lakers teammate and Hall of Famer Vlade Divac tonight in Montenegro! He invited us to dinner at the Mamula Island Hotel. This was an old fortress turned into a luxury hotel, opened two years ago. The dinner and exploring the property were simply amazing! I recommend everyone in Montenegro check it out!” Johnson wrote on his Instagram account.

The photos and videos posted by Johnson show the group enjoying their time together, with scenes of the Mamula Island, a site steeped in history. Once a concentration camp under Mussolini’s fascist regime during World War II, the island has been transformed into a luxurious getaway, blending historical significance with modern luxury.

This visit not only underscores Johnson’s fondness for the Adriatic coast but also highlights the deep bond between the two basketball legends. Their reunion in such a historic and beautiful setting adds a poignant touch to their shared memories and ongoing friendship.
