World Record Set at Leskovac Grill Festival with 86.4-Kilogram Pljeskavica

At the 34th annual Roštiljijada in Leskovac, a new world record was set for the largest pljeskavica, weighing in at an impressive 86.4 kilograms

This massive grilled patty, made from over 86 kilograms of meat, surpasses the previous year’s record by six kilograms, which was also set at the same festival.

The pljeskavica measured 210 centimetres in diameter and was two centimetres thick after cooking. The record-breaking feat was accomplished by a team of grill masters from the Leskovac restaurants “Dva drugara” and “Koliba,” including Predrag Lazarević, Ivica Zdravković, Ljubiša Đorđević, and brothers Stefan and Bojan Cvetković.

This marks the eighth consecutive year that this team has set a new record at the Leskovac Grill Festival, solidifying their reputation as the masters of this beloved Serbian dish.
