The report ranks 139 countries based on 78 indicators, showing that six of the top ten most innovative nations are in Europe, while the United States, South Korea, and Singapore also make the top ten.
Countries like Serbia are categorized as middle-income, whereas nations such as Senegal, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, and Rwanda are recognized as dynamic leaders in innovation.
Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, and North Macedonia are also categorized as middle-income countries in terms of innovation. The report highlights their growing potential and opportunities to improve in research, technology, and development indicators.
