Slovenian bakery group Don Don has confirmed a strategic agreement with Mexico’s Bimbo Group, positioning Don Don within one of the world’s largest bakery networks.
This partnership is set to complete over the next five months pending regulatory requirements.
With operations in over 30 countries and a $15 billion annual sales volume, Bimbo’s support is expected to enhance Don Don’s market share across its existing 15 markets, with plans for strategic investments in high-tech facilities and acquisitions in key regions
As part of the Bimbo family, Don Don is poised to play a key role in expanding the group’s footprint across Central, Eastern, and Southern Europe, regions previously untapped by Bimbo.
Through this alliance, Don Don’s baked goods will not only solidify their presence locally but will also reach international markets, marking a significant step in both companies’ commitment to growth and innovation.
