Serbia’s ICT Sector Hits Record Export Growth

Serbia’s information and communication technology (ICT) sector sees a remarkable surge, marking a decade of unprecedented growth

In 2024, Serbia’s information and communication technology (ICT) sector reached an all-time high, with export revenues soaring to €4.13 billion.

This represents a 20% year-on-year increase, following the record-breaking €3.44 billion in 2023.

The rapid rise in revenue is a testament to the sector’s explosive growth over the past decade.

Since 2012, exports of ICT products and services have surged by a staggering tenfold, making it one of the fastest-growing industries in the region.

The trade surplus in the sector also reached €3.23 billion in 2024, up from €2.61 billion the previous year.

The Ministry of Information and Telecommunications has pledged to continue fostering the development of this vital sector, positioning it as one of Serbia’s most potent economic drivers, with global competitiveness now firmly within reach.
