Sarajevo to Host 14th EUSDR Annual Forum in November

Bosnia & Herzegovina steps forward in EU-led regional cooperation

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed that Sarajevo will host the 14th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) on 5–6 November 2025. The forum will bring together ministers, policymakers, and stakeholders from 14 participating countries to discuss sustainable development, green transition, digitalisation, and territorial cohesion across the Danube basin.

Bosnia and Herzegovina currently holds the Presidency of the EUSDR, an EU macro-regional initiative that includes both EU and non-EU countries. The forum will be co-organised with the European Commission and the Danube Strategy Point, and is expected to draw over 500 delegates.

This forum gives Bosnia & Herzegovina a high-profile platform to demonstrate its commitment to EU integration and regional leadership, particularly in the context of environmental and economic cooperation.
