RTS Modernises Broadcast Operations with Huawei Tech

Serbia’s public broadcaster adopts FusionCube to power faster, smarter digital content delivery

Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) has implemented Huawei’s FusionCube Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) to modernise its broadcasting operations. The upgrade supports faster content production, low-latency live streaming, and more efficient digital archiving—improving RTS’s ability to adapt to audience demands and expand its digital footprint.

Working with Huawei and local partner Coming, RTS replaced its legacy systems with a four-node FusionCube cluster and integrated OceanProtect X3000 storage for backup. The transformation boosts internal production workflows, enhances access to high-resolution content across platforms, and enables quicker rollout of new digital services.

With this move, RTS aims to reach a younger and global audience through interactive, cross-platform content—solidifying its role as Serbia’s leading public broadcaster in a fast-evolving media environment.
