OTP Group’s ESG Summit Unites the Region

There is no green transition without green financing — and OTP Group is leading the way

In the heart of Belgrade, OTP Group held its third annual ESG Summit (13–14 May 2025), affirming its commitment to steering the region’s shift toward a low-carbon economy.

With more than 120 colleagues from across the Group’s international network in attendance, the summit focused on the critical role of banks in funding sustainable projects and promoting energy efficiency.

Hosted by OTP banka Srbija, the event opened with a warm welcome from CEO Predrag Mihajlović, followed by a keynote from Gergely Pókos, Head of the Green Programme Directorate, showcasing the Group’s impressive ESG achievements over the past year.

The highlight came with the CEO panel, where leaders from Serbia, Bulgaria, and Croatia — including Mihajlović, DSK Bank’s Tamas Hak-Kovacs, and OTP banka Hrvatska’s Balazs Bekeffy — discussed the challenges and triumphs of sustainable banking, moderated by CRO Balazs Balogh.

Beyond business, guests explored Belgrade’s charm, blending policy, partnership, and pleasure — a perfect reflection of ESG in practice.
