A new seasonal fast ferry route will once again link Split with the popular island destinations of Bol, Hvar and Vis, further strengthening maritime connections along Croatia’s central Dalmatian coast. The service is set to operate during the peak tourist season, offering a quicker and more efficient alternative to traditional ferry lines for both locals and visitors.
The route will improve access to some of the Adriatic’s most visited islands, with Bol on Brač, Hvar and Vis all included in the same fast connection from Split.
Designed with tourism demand in mind, the service is expected to ease road congestion, shorten travel times and provide greater flexibility for day trips and island-hopping during the summer months.
The introduction of the seasonal fast ferry comes as part of broader efforts to enhance coastal mobility and support sustainable tourism growth. By improving links between major mainland hubs and island communities, the route aims to boost local economies while making island travel simpler and more accessible throughout the high season.
