Montenegro’s Transport Administration announced a €17 million tender for the reconstruction of the Ostros–Vladimir regional road, a critical but long-neglected route near the Albanian border. The project includes full road rehabilitation, the installation of safety features, and environmental impact compliance.
Stretching through the municipality of Ulcinj, this corridor connects rural areas with the main Adriatic highway, and its improvement is expected to boost regional mobility, economic activity, and tourism potential in the cross-border zone.
This is one of the largest single-road investments in southern Montenegro in recent years, signaling government focus on connectivity and development in peripheral regions.
