IShowSpeed Sparks Global Frenzy from Split

Over 4 Million Watched Live as YouTube Star Kicks Off Europe Tour in Croatia

Croatia just scored a major digital moment. Split played host to IShowSpeed, one of the world’s most-followed YouTubers, as he launched his European tour with a livestream that drew more than 4 million viewers globally.

The 20-year-old sensation, real name Darren Jason Watkins Jr., boasts over 100 million followers across social media.

Former NBA player and current Sunset Sports Festival director Damjan Rudež served as host and tour coordinator, while Nikola Stolnik, founder of Good Game Global and partner in the Sunset Esports initiative, also joined the Croatian welcome team.

The tour spans 14 countries including Greece, Finland, France, Spain, Serbia, and Turkey — but it was Croatia that had the global spotlight first.
