Germany Confirms Participation in EXPO 2027

Germany's commitment to the 2027 specialized international exhibition, to be held in Belgrade, underscores the event’s growing stature as a global platform for culture, sport, and unity.

Germany has officially confirmed its participation in EXPO 2027, an event set to take place in Belgrade under the theme “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All.”

The announcement is a significant boost for Serbia, positioning the event as a major international attraction.

As the world’s third-largest economy and a key trading partner to Serbia, Germany’s involvement highlights the importance of this exhibition on the global stage.

EXPO 2027, scheduled from May 15 to August 15, 2027, will bring together over 120 countries in a celebration of sport, music, and global cooperation.

With an expected 4 million visitors, this will be the first specialized exhibition ever hosted in the Balkans, cementing Belgrade’s place on the world map of cultural exchange.

For Germany, this participation marks a continuation of its long-standing history in world exhibitions, dating back to the first World’s Fair in 1851, and a testament to its ongoing leadership in shaping global dialogues.
