Fuel Prices Edge Up Across Montenegro from Midnight

Drivers across Montenegro will face higher fuel costs from tonight, as prices of petrol, diesel and heating oil rise by up to two cents per litre

Motorists in Montenegro are bracing for a modest rise in fuel prices from midnight, with the Ministry of Energy and Mining confirming increases across all types of fuel.

A litre of Eurosuper 95 will climb by one cent to €1.43, while Eurosuper 98 sees the same increase, reaching €1.46.

Diesel drivers will feel a slightly steeper hike, with Eurodiesel rising by two cents to €1.30 per litre. Heating oil follows suit, up two cents to €1.24.

The adjustment comes under the government’s regulatory framework that sets maximum fuel prices, revised fortnightly.

The next price review is scheduled for 30 June, with any changes taking effect on 1 July.

For many, these incremental rises are a reminder of the volatile energy market, where small changes can ripple through household and business budgets alike.
